Garhwal Rifles Recruitment Rally in Lansdowne from 30 September 2016

Garhwal Rifles Regimental Centre is conducting Army Bharti Rally in October month betweeen 30 Sept to 08 October 2016. Army Recruitment Rally in Lansdowne will be done for the Soldier G D & Soldier Tradesmen, Clerk & Technical. Each rally day is for youth of different districts of Garhwal Region, Haridwar, Dehradun. All interested youth can reach Lansdowne Bharti Ground as per schedule date.

Garhwal Rifles Recruitment Rally in 2016 –

The bharti rally for Garhwal Mandal, Uttarakhand will be conducted in Lansdowne. Garhwal Rifles relation bharti is for all youths of Garhwal region, Haridwar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Place of Rally/ Bharti : Bharti Ground, Lansdowne

Age Limit :

For Soldier GD – 17.5 to 21 years 

For Soldier Tradesmen – 17.5 to 23 years

Educational Qualifications

For Soldier GD (General Duty) : Minimum 10th Pass with 45% overall and 33% in each subjects. If candidate has higher qualification, then minimum qualification not required.

For Soldier Clerk : Minimum 12th Pass

For Soldier Tradesmen : Minimum 10th Pass

Physical Standard

Physical standard will be as per height-weight ratio.

For General Duty : Minimum height is 166 cm and weight 48 kg. For Haridwar candidates, minimum height is 170 cm.

For Soldier Technical : Minimum 163 cm. For Haridwar candidates, minimum height is 170 cm.

For Clerk : Minimum 162 cm

Chest : 77 – 82 cm

Examination Pattern

Written examination will be of objective type and have two Papers. Written Exam tentative date is 30 November 2016.

Paper 1

 Soldier GD Post

Questions will be from Current Affairs, General Knowledge, and Mathematics & IQ. Total marks will be 100 and minimum marks to pass is 32 .

Paper 2

For Soldier Technical Post – Question will be from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

For Soldier Clerk Post – Question will be from Mathematics & English.

Paper will be of 50 marks and 16 marks are needed to pass through.
